Shipping & FAQ

The questions worth answering before you order, answered without the hedging.

How long will it take?

Most orders: 3–8 business days. Some items: up to 10.

That's 1–3 business days to process plus 2–7 in transit. It varies by product because different items ship out of different warehouses on different services — barrier poles and cutting blades don't travel together.

The window for the specific item is on its product page. That's the number to schedule around, not the store-wide range.

What does shipping cost?

Free on orders over $50. Under $50 it's a flat $4.90 to anywhere in the United States. The exact figure is shown at checkout before you pay for anything.

The slot cutter and the panel carrier are the two items that fall under the threshold on their own. Buying the pair as The Hang Kit takes the order over $50, saves $9.99 against buying them apart, and the shipping goes to nothing.

Why not two-day like everyone else?

Because we'd be lying. We're a small operation shipping from US warehouses, not a fulfilment network with regional depots. What we can promise is that the number on the page is the real one, and that you'll hear from us before a date slips rather than after.

The comparison that matters isn't Amazon. It's the overseas seller quoting two to four weeks with tracking that stops updating over the Pacific. We're not doing that to you.

Where do you ship?

United States only, for now. We'd rather say that plainly than quote an international rate we can't honour.

What if it's late?

Past 10 business days we email you proactively — you shouldn't have to chase us. Past 12 business days with no delivery, contact us and we'll replace it or refund it. Your choice, no argument.

Have you used this gear yourselves?

Not yet, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. These four are our opening listings, picked on specification and on what they honestly can't do. Our own samples are the next thing this business buys.

Until they arrive, every photograph on the site belongs to the manufacturer and every product page says so. When a sample lands, the photos become ours and the page gets corrected in public if we got anything wrong. If the product is bad, it comes off the shelf and we'll tell you why.

Do you make this gear?

No. We're a retailer. Products are made by other companies — VEVOR, TCHOSUZ and others — and arrive in their packaging with their branding on them. The manufacturer is named in every product's spec table.

We don't relabel and we don't private-label. More on why in Our Standards.

Will it fit my tool / my boxes / my ceiling?

The dimensions and compatibility figures are in each spec table, and we list them precisely for exactly this reason. If you're still not sure, email us before you order. Two minutes now beats a return later.

Can I return it?

30 days from delivery. Used once on a job and it didn't work out is fine. Covered in joint compound with parts missing is not.

  • Our fault — wrong item, defective, damaged, not as described — we pay return shipping and send a prepaid label.
  • Changed your mind — you cover return shipping.

Email us before shipping anything back; it may need to go to a different address than it came from. Full detail in the Refund Policy.

It arrived damaged.

Send a photo within 7 days. We ship a replacement or refund you — we won't make you return a damaged item first.

Why is the catalogue so small?

Because we refuse whole categories on principle, and because every product has to clear a margin test and an honesty test before it earns a page here. Our Standards has the list of what we won't sell and why.

Do you take returns on the manufacturer's warranty?

Manufacturer warranties are between you and the manufacturer, but our 30-day policy applies regardless and is usually faster. Start with us.
