If you've ever sanded drywall in an occupied house, you know the actual job isn't the sanding. It's the dust that ends up on a kitchen table two rooms away, and the conversation you have about it afterward.
How it works
Four spring-loaded telescoping poles pressure-fit between floor and ceiling — no ladders, no tape, no adhesive on finished surfaces. Run the included film across them and you have a sealed barrier from floor to ceiling. One person, no help needed.
Poles adjust from3 ft to 10 ft, so they cover standard 8 ft and 9 ft ceilings with room to spare. Everything collapses into the carry bag and goes in the truck.
The zip door is the part that matters
The kit includes a magnetic self-closing door strip, not a manual zipper. That sounds like a small thing until you're carrying a bucket in each hand. A zipper needs a free hand; this doesn't — you walk through and it seals behind you.
It's the single reason we stock this kit over the cheaper pole-only sets.

What it isn't
Read this before you buy
This is a dust barrier, not a negative-air containment system. If you're doing abatement work that requires certified containment and pressure differential, buy the rated system — this isn't that, and we're not going to pretend otherwise.
The poles hold pressure against a solid ceiling. Drop ceilings and unfinished joists need a different approach.
This kit arrives in the manufacturer's packaging. We didn't make it and we're not going to put our sticker on it. We picked it, we priced it, and we'll tell you what's wrong with it — that's the job.
The film is 0.08 mm. It's a working-day barrier, not a reusable-for-a-year wall. Plan on replacing it between jobs.
