Wrestling a 4x8 sheet down a hallway solo is how you put a corner through somebody's wall — or your knee through the board. This is a clamping handle that grips the panel edge so the sheet rides beside you instead of bear-hugged against your chest.
How it works
Three moves. Set the jaw to the thickness of what you're carrying, lift the handle to clamp it, and go. Press the handle back down to release. The jaw takes anything from a thin sheet up to 1 inch thick, and the rated capacity is 200 lb.
The point isn't the strength. It's that the sheet stays vertical and off your body, so you can see where you're going and you've got a hand free for doors, stairs and railings.

What it isn't
It's a carrying handle, not a panel lift.It makes a sheet manageable to walk with. It does not hold board against a ceiling and it won't help you hang overhead on your own.
200 lb is the handle's rating, not a suggestion about what your back should be doing. A single sheet of 1/2 in board is about 50 lb — that's the job this is for.
The panel still has to be gripped properly, and the jaw has to be set to the right thickness before you lift. On a windy exterior walk, a big sheet is still a sail.
The manufacturer's branding appears on the grip. We didn't make it and we're not relabelling it. We picked it, we priced it, and we'll tell you where it falls short.
